“Best Panini I'm Aware Of”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

"The staff is very friendly and attentive. The decor is imaginetive in a warm homey way. You see a lot of repeat customers.

All their food is fresh and home made and garnished with fruit that tastes as good as it looks. They even make their own salid dressings, which are available to take home as well ( the orange vinegrette is in my fridge ).

The menue is varied and the specials change daily. Our favorites are: Cuban or Roast Beef Panini - Quiche (usually choose from three ) w/ salid - the Chef's Salid is well balanced and is a good choice for those wanting to feel virtueous before finishing with Bread Pudding / Jack Daniels Sauce. "

“Head into Clifton Forge for Lunch...”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

What a great find. My sisters and I had gone to Clifton Forge for the day to walk memory lane of a few early childhood years. It is a small 'railroad' town full of history and authenticity in a beautiful part of the state.

We planned to eat lunch in town (refuel) and were blown away to serendipitously choose (walk by - size up - enter) the Heirloom Cafe and end up with a fine dining experience!
